Yeah, I know I should be packing up the Christmas stamps... and I have been playing with hearts for some kid cards. But, I still can't get enough of those cute little MFT pawliday pups.
So, here's one more card inspired by three current challenges:
- the Jingle Belles' Look What Santa Bought Me Challenge, using a brand new MFT cover-up die... that truth be told, I purchased for myself... so that Santa would have one last stop to make. LOL
- the Shopping Our Stash Watercolor with Us Challenge, which encouraged me to make an Oxide watercolory background for my little pups. I even did a watercolor brush of antique linen and vintage photo to create the color of the pups' and kitten's fur.
- the Cards in Envy Winter Chills Challenge... after all Santa Paws is donning a stylish scarf and his favorite hat. :)
This was the first time I've colored over a watercolored background. I was a little hesitant, but am pretty pleased... especially with the light bulbs. :)
Have a great weekend.... and stay warm if you're in that nasty wind chill swath of the country. Baby, it really is cold outside. Brrrr.....
