Furry and Bright

Hi, everyone!

Yeah, I know I should be packing up the Christmas stamps... and I have been playing with hearts for some kid cards. But, I still can't get enough of those cute little MFT pawliday pups.

So, here's one more card inspired by three current challenges:
Strathmore watercolor paper; Stampin' Up! gray
MFT happy pawlidays: sentiment and Santa pup
MFT up in the air: kitten and pup faces
MFT you make my tail wag: paw prints
Mama Elephant reindeer games: light bulbs, star, and present
CTMH twilight stamp set of the month: string for light bulbs
images and sentiment stamped in MFT black hybrid ink
images colored with Prismacolor pencils
background inked with Distress Oxides (broken china, worn lipstick)
background spattered with Distress Inks (hickory smoke, black soot)
Wink of Stella enhancement
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Miracle Tape

This was the first time I've colored over a watercolored background. I was a little hesitant, but am pretty pleased... especially with the light bulbs.   :)

Have a great weekend.... and stay warm if you're in that nasty wind chill swath of the country. Baby, it really is cold outside. Brrrr.....

In the meantime, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
